Cloudnine Hospital empowers over 100 women in Chennai at its Women’s Wellness event

Chennai, Saturday, February 24, 2024: Cloudnine Hospital in Chennai based at T Nagar and Old Mahabalipuram Road (OMR) for the first time in city hosted a transformative women’s wellness event, bringing together over 100 women for an insightful discussion on achieving harmony in health by balancing mind and body amidst the challenges of modern life. In today’s fast-paced and stressful world, maintaining optimal health and well-being is a priority for many women. Recognizing this need, Cloudnine Hospital organized a panel discussion with some fun games and photo sessions focused on empowering women to prioritize self-care and find balance in their lives.

The event featured engaging talks by Dr Rijaphin R, Dr Kavitha D both Senior consultants in obstetrics and gynecology at Cloudnine Chennai, OMR branch and Shrutika Arjun Indian actress, entrepreneur, and television personality from Tamil-language films.

More than 100+ attendees had the opportunity to have an open dialogue and discussion about taboo topics surrounding women’s health, such as menstrual health, menopause, PCOS, sexual wellness. Doctors emphasized on how taking charge of reproductive health is vital for every woman’s overall well-being. By staying informed about screenings, contraceptive options, and family planning will help in proactively address gynecological issues. The event also highlighted the need for openly talking and seeking support for postpartum depression which not only impacts mothers but also fathers with mood swings, anxiety, irritability, and feelings of hopelessness.
