The Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Government of India, Shri Ramdas Athwale expressed his gratitude towards the noble Chief Minister of Tamilnadu, Edappadi K. Palaniswamy for implementing central schemes in the state during the deterrence of COVID-19. He appreciated Yoga & Naturopathy, Dept Of Ayush, Govt of Tamilnadu for supporting Indian Y&N doctors’ intervention in all COVID care hospital centres in Tamilnadu.
He quoted yogic philosophy refers to three forms of Sakthi impacting the body, mind and spirit and proves to boost immunity of public. He wished Dr. Manavalan, Joint Director of Y&N, Dept of Ayush under the leadership of Shri Ganesan, IAS, Commissioner of Ayush for the initiatives taken.
In a letter to the Director, CCRYN, Ministry of Ayush, Govt of India, dated 5th March, 2020, the Minister Mr.Ramdas Athwale had mentioned regarding the implementation of Naturopathy Yoga Kendra & Clinic (NYKC) for the employment of BNYS graduates and also the focus on the Person with Disabilities (PWDs) Divyangjan based on the recommendations of Dr. Vijayakumar, Secretary, NAC-EG & EGRI,Cental University of Karnataka. The Skill Council for Person with Disabilities (SCPWD) has been initiated for the growth and development of the nation.
The CCRYN accepted the Joint Commission on Ayush for implementing NYKC with BNYS doctors across the country under Dr. Vijayakumar. The Commission has planned to open around 12000 Kendra which will benefit more than 25000 BNYS doctors and 25000 PWDs. It also said that the Dept of Ayush, Tamilnadu has been appointed as the PIA for implementing 300 NYKC stores through Dept of Medicinal Herbs in Tamilnadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore.
He extended his sincere wishes and appreciation to Dr. Vijayakumar for his initiatives and work on implementing the above schemes in Tamilnadu for the betterment of lives of the people in this COVID pandemic.
