Green Energy  awareness 25 Electric Vehicle rally  flagged off by IT Minister Mano Thangaraj and Western Australian Minister Mr. Roger Cook & took a green journey from Taj Coromandel Hotel to Amir Mahal

 
A heritage tour was arranged for western Australian delegates enroute to Amir Mahal, where a dinner was hosted by HH the Prince of Arcot, Mohammed Asif Ali. The event was graced by the visiting Australian minister of tourism and 23 other delegates, along with ministers, celebrities and socialites from Tamilnadu. 
 
This heritage tour was flagged off by the Minister of Tamilnadu, Mr. Mano Thangaraj (Information and Technology department), along with the honourable Western Australian minister, Mr. Roger Cook, Deputy Premier, Minister for Development, Jobs, Trade, Tourism, Commerce, and Science. This event was hosted by M AUTO Electric Mobility. The Founder Mr. Mansoor Ali Khan and CEO, Mrs. Yasmeen Jawaharali also graced the occasion.
 
The event aims to strengthen government and industry connections; tap the business opportunities of Western Australia in the Indian market; and promote Western Australia as a destination for tourism, travel, higher education, and business investment.
 
The event featured an electric auto ride driven both by male and female drivers along with the delegates from the Taj Coramandel Hotel, Nungambakkam to Amir Mahal, Royapettah along the scenic routes of the Marina.
 
The purpose of the ride is to promote gender neutrality and equal opportunities for men and women in all sectors. It also emphasises the need for cleaner and sustainable transport alternatives to help with the prevailing climatic conditions and create awareness around road safety.
 
Information Technology Minister Mano Thangaraj spoke to the media after the event said The Minister Mr. Roger Cook currently visiting from Australia, along with his 25 Delegates team made a green journey from the Taj Coromandel Hotel to the Amir Mahal in an electric auto.  He said that this trip is aimed at getting rid of environmental pollution and realizing the need to use green recycling energy.
