~ More than 4000 professionals and enthusiastson a collective effort towards ‘Nation Building’
Conceptualised and carefully curated by Seshu Karthik – an Entrepreneur by heart, the campaign revolves around building a better Nation for tomorrow with a collective effort from each one of us. ‘BORN IN BHARAT’started as a single idea of bringing people together for the Nationand evolved into a broader holistic initiative considering the past, present, and future. It aims to function in three stages – take pride of the past glories of the country, drive growth for today’s progress, and create a vision for a stronger tomorrow.
Launched on 14th September 2020. The campaign instantly caught the eyes of the citizens and earned more than 3500 tweets on the launch day. It was national trending on Twitter for 3-4 hours. It has taken the approach to Empower Individuals to build an Empowered Nation.
‘BORN IN BHARAT’ was launched in association with Bhumi Organization and Young Indians Chennai. The launch campaign encouraged people to be part of Nation building with a 2-prong approach. First, people are encouraged to snap and share a photo of a Bharat moment. This ignites a conversation about the Nation. Next, people are prompted to do their bit and create an impact. There are 3 suggested ways to create an immediate impact – Lead, Contribute and Participate.
‘BORN IN BHARAT’ aims to provide technology and digital mediums to bring in collaborative growth avenues for people in various verticals and age groups. It also offers growth avenues for students to hone their skills or finding work opportunities, hence enabling a stronger tomorrow for the country.
The team had also launched an emotion evoking video with questions we all should answer to ourselves. This is being followed by BHARAT POLL in which several hundred people participated to express how they can contribute to Nation-building.
The ‘Solve for Bharat’ aspect of this initiative has invited ideas to solve some trivial and serious situations in our Nation. The problem statements include day-to-day situations like optimised water consumption, reduction in plastic wastes, cycle-friendly cities and small yet critical topics like traffic regulation near schools, dining experience in college canteens, freeing the aisle in aircrafts, etc.
“We believe that a Nation’s prosperity is the collective prosperity of its people. The objective is to strengthen the aspects of Pride, Growth, and Vision to the people of Bharat. To begin the journey towards Nation-building, let us together choose the Give-First approach… followed by Growth-Next activities.”– Seshu Karthick, the ideator of this initiative
