“Southern Chinese Restaurant 1969”- Pioneer of Authentic Chinese Cuisine in Chennai on to its 50th year inaugurated by Ms. Apsara Reddy, General Secretary of Indian National Congress (Mahila) @ Annanagar.
Ever since our patron Mr Chang(China) migrated to Chennai-India, secret recipes from their Chinese Culture came to life in this little magic food land.
In the year 2017, A group of 9 youngsters from different walks of life had come together with a vision of taking forward this legacy to scale new heights.
Our Mission is to cater all segments of people with the finest dine-in ambience at a nominal price.
Briefing of Chinese Cuisine – In general, traditional chinese cuisine consists of 8 different cuisines, however we at SCR majorly follow Szechwan and Hunan cuisine along with the street style food of Taiwan’s Mangolian Cuisine, Forbidden city’s Beijing Cuisine & Buddhist Monks’ Delight.
Our Rejuvenated Restaurant has a total of 44 seatings which can accommodate Nuclear as well as group of people. Along with that, we also have private/ moonlight/ candle light dinner served in GLASS ROOM on reservations.
