~ A fund raiser in the aid to support the transgender community ~
CausePlayKarma conducted a photo walk, Beginner’s Mobile Photography workshop by Iphoneographer Surya Chidambaram at Mylapore on the 19th & 20th October 2019 to raise funds to aid the transgender community. The event is conceptualised by SPI Edge & the walk is curated by Foodies day out.
Photo walk had 30 diverse people of Chennai come together for a one-day mobile photography workshop. The proceeds generated will be used to support operations of the transgender community, Sahodaran, a leader in the LGBTIQ community in Southern India. At the end of the session, the collected funds will be given to the representative of Sahodaran.

Schedule for beginner’s mobile photography workshop 6:00 AM – 8:00 AM :
5:40 AM -Participant’s and media assembly in front of Kapaleeshwarar temple at EAST MADA STREET.
6:00 AM – 6:10 AM -Photo walk begins with a speech from (Ratheesh Krishnan, Apsara Reddy and Surya Chidambaram).
6:10 AM – 6:50 AM – Walk through the street and then make a stop at kalathi for a refreshing rose milk and walk continues throughout The Market at SOUTH MADA STREET.
6:55 AM – 7:30 AM – Walk all along the SOUTH MADA STREET and to reach Sri Ramakrishna mutt and head towards the R.K Mutt Road.
7:35 AM – 7:55 AM – Turn right and walk towards NORTH MADA STREET. Turn right again to reach the pond (Golu, flower market).
7:55 AM – 8:00 AM – Light detour for snacks at Jannalkadai and then back to Kapaleeshwarar temple. And then go to the breakfast point at Rayer Mess.
