GEC (Global Entrepreneur Council) presented the “Asia Pacific Business Award” to 48 Entrepreneurs

 
The  Asia Pacific Business Awards Presented by GEC (Global Entrepreneur Council) and WLF (Women’s League Foundation) was held in in Hyatt Regency Chennai. A festive award ceremony to celebrate entrepreneurs and business leaders across Asia.
 
Asia Pacific Business Award, honoured 45 Entrepreneurs and  3 Young Entrepreneurs. APBA this year´s  attracted 2500 applicants from across Asia. For the first time Singapore, Malaysia, India, Philippines,,Vietnam ,Thailand ,Japan  and Srilanka are some of the countries entrepreneurs who’ve been recognised. A high-ranking jury of experts selected the most outstanding ‘entrepreneurs’ visionaries, who come from an impressively wide range of industries with diverse achievements.
 
Chennai born P.indiran, CEO, Nexus PR, won the award for the best Public Relation professional. Having established Nexus PR in the year 2009, Indran achieved a consistently reliable and savvy reputation in the city. Over the years, he fought adversity, seized opportunities, maintained a positive image and cultivated strong media connections. From lifestyle and sports to health and real-estate, he has established lasting connections with clients from all the fields. Indran has played a major role in the field of public relation in as many as seven world records, promoted My Flag My India project by Rotary International, helped raise funds for the Prime Minister fund during 2014 Kashmir floods and worked with eminent personalities including Shahrukh Khan for two of his movies — Chennai Express, Happy New Year. With an ability to communicate brilliantly and keen understanding of how the media works laced with a creative streak, Indiran emerged as a solid PR professional in the industry and continues to network his way through everything that is happening in the city!
 
Other awardees include Sha Nacino (Women Entrepreneur of the year), Ramonette L Olendesca ( Edupreneur of the year) from Philippines. Dato.Sugumaran Kani and Y.B.Kamache Doray rajoo , Shalu Diccam ,Shree Rao,Pallavi Sreedharan, Dato Sri Barani Karunakaran,Prof Dr.Karunakaran Dorrasamy,Balachandran Sreedharan,Diccam Lourdes and JK Signature from Malaysia won the awards. Brand of the year for JULLAAHA and MAUTO PRIDE for India and Women Entrepreneur of the year to Ms.Geetha Nagappan, Dr.Sampaul Entrepreneur of the year, S.L.N Sathappan Entrepreneur of the year India. Charu Mehrotra Social Women Entrepreneur of the year Singapore. Rajini Sulochana Segera for Social Entrepreneur of the year Srilanka.Nadar Sammouri Entrepreneur of the year for Japan.
 
Ms. Mohanalakshmi Chairman APAC shared vision way forward for GEC across Asia and about their new initiative GYEC(Global Young Entrepreneur Council) and GWEC( Global Women Entrepreneur Council). Ms.Divya Swapna Raji Founder Women’s League Foundation shared about the three year collaboration they made with GEC in various initiatives and impact projects planned for the next three years in India and Asia Pacific.
